Typical Cancellation and Refund Timeline
Over 72 Hours Prior to Charter
Qualified for: Complete reimbursement excluding handling fees
Processing Duration: 5-7 business days
Handling Charge: €50 for card transactions
Requirements: Needs to be requested through email or phone in writing
Between 24 to 72 Hours Prior to Charter
Qualified for: Half of the full charter cost
Processing Duration: 7-10 business days
Handling Charge: €25 taken from the refund
Requirements: Valid justification required; administrative fees incurred
Less Than 24 Hours Prior to Charter
Qualified for: No refunds given
Exception: Consideration may be given under urgent scenarios
Alternative: A charter voucher could be provided at the discretion of the company
Requirements: Proof required for emergency instances
Cancellations Due to Weather Conditions
Weather Assurance
Your safety is paramount. If the captain, who is certified, determines that weather conditions are not safe for charter operations, we will offer flexible alternatives:
- Complete Refund: A full refund if rescheduling isn't an option
- Rescheduling: Alter your charter to another available date without additional charges
- Charter Voucher: A voucher useable for 12 months from the original charter date
Assessment of Weather
Our evaluation of the weather includes:
- Assessment of wind direction and speed
- Evaluation of the wave height and sea conditions
- Forecasts of visibility and precipitation
- Maritime warnings and advisories
- Professional judgment on safety by the captain
Decision-Making Timeframe: Decisions regarding weather cancellations are made no more than 4 hours prior to the planned departure time.
Refunds for Medical Emergencies
Emergent Circumstances
We recognize that unforeseen medical situations can happen. The following scenarios may be eligible for special considerations:
- Abrupt illness or injury necessitating hospital admittance
- Passing of an immediate family member
- Mandatory military service or urgent recall
- Mandated jury service or legal order
- Natural disasters impeding travel
Documentation Expected
To process an emergency refund, please supply:
- Medical documentation or hospitalization proof
- Official death record for relevant cases
- Military dispatch orders
- Legal subpoenas or jury notices
- Emergency declarations or travel restrictions
Processing: Emergency refunds are processed in 3-5 business days post-receipt of accurate documentation.
Cancellations Due to Operational Issues
Technical Failures
If the vessel you're allocated experiences technical difficulties that can't be remedied:
- Alternative Vessel: We will seek to provide a suitable replacement
- Complete Refund: Offered if no comparable substitute is available
- Partial Refund: Granted if the replacement vessel has different rates
- Compensation: Extra compensation might be offered to account for any inconveniences
Lack of Crew
On the rare occasion that a certified crew is not available:
- An alternative crew will be sourced if feasible
- Complete refund if the charter is unable to be conducted
- Options for rescheduling without extra fees
Method of Refund Processing
Repayment Method
Reimbursements are issued through the same method used originally for booking:
- Cards: 5-7 business days
- Bank Transfers: 7-10 business days
- Cash or Cheque: 3-5 business days

€25 fee for every bank transfer refund

Policy on Charter Vouchers
Instances Vouchers Are Issued
Charter vouchers can be offered as a refund alternative in some instances:
- Short-notice cancellations (less than 24 hours before)
- Cancellations linked to weather
- Elective rescheduling proposals
- Disruptions in operations
Voucher Conditions
- Duration: Valid for one year from the date of issuance
- Non-Transferable: Cannot be moved to other individuals
- Amount: Equal to the full value of the charter (no handling fees deducted)
- Utilization: Applicable to any future charters that are available
- Expiry: No extensions beyond the 12-month limit
Refund Solutions for Partial Services
Interruptions During Service
In the event that your charter is disrupted or cut short due to factors within our influence:
- A prorated reimbursement based on the portion of the service not utilized
- A future charter voucher of equivalent value
- Complimentary services or possible upgrades provided
Guest-Related Disruptions
If the charter is concluded prematurely because of guest actions or breaches of safety guidelines:
- No return for the segment of the service remaining
- Total service cost is still payable
- Penalties could be enforced for any disturbances caused
Conflict Resolution
If you find yourself in disagreement with a decision concerning a refund, you are able to:
- Call for an assessment by our management staff
- Offer supplementary evidence or documentation
- Search for mediation via consumer protection organizations
- Consider lawful actions in line with relevant laws
